Quiet Clean RI is a volunteer group of Rhode Island residents that seeks to remove fossil fuels from landscape maintenance, beginning with the elimination of gas-powered leaf blowers in Rhode Island.
Our goals are:
- to educate the public about the dangers of gas-powered landscaping tools
- to promote cleaner, quieter, healthier alternatives
- to encourage ecologically-minded landscaping practices that foster biodiversity and resilience
- to advocate for legislation to accelerate the transition away from gas-powered landscape equipment
Our members are currently working toward action statewide, in Providence, and in Barrington.
