Tell your landscaper you want change

Landscapers need to know that their customers are looking for quieter and more environmentally-friendly options. So, if you employ a landscaper, and are unhappy with the overuse of gas leaf blowers, let them know! You may want them to switch to electric leaf blowers, or you may want to change the maintenance routine to minimize blowing. Remember, you are the customer, so what they do on your property is up to you. If you have a service contract specifying what tasks will be performed, you may be able to use that to specify exactly which tasks they will do.
